Job Description of Assistant Director-IT (BS-171

Responsible for Management, Maintenance, and Monitoring of ECP LAN/WAN/ and network related equipment at REC and DEC level.
Supervise and manage task of data entry and others related to the concerned Data Entry Operators of REC and DEC offices.
Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment and devices.
Assist IT-Wing of PEC office in Administration of Window based sewers.
Document network system problems along with their resolutions for future reference.
Installation of antivirus and its troubleshooting and ensure that all computers are Virus free and up-to-date.
Provide the help desk support related to Network infrastructure.
Assist IT-Wing of PEC office in Troubleshooting of CERS Network in REC office and subordinate field offices.
Configure, and maintain computers, printers and other IT hardware.
Operating system installation and configuration.
Manage and control databases user profiles, access control (rights and privileges) at REC level.
Local database maintenance and log all transactions/audit trails.
Keep alive connectivity, MIS, other applications in secure environment.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Attested Copy of CNIC must be attached with the application form.
Relaxation in age limit of five years over and above the prescribed age limit will be given as per Government instructions.

Applicants who applied through the Online Recruitment System are also required to submit their applications in hard form, failing which candidates will fall in Ineligible list.
Hard copies of their applications an the following prescribed format along with attested photocopies of MC, Domicile Certificate and other Educational Credentials along with experience certificates should reach through P.O Box No.1418 till 22nd March, 2022.
Applications reviewed after cutoff date will not be entertained. [Only shortlisted candidates meeting the qualifications / experience will be called for test / interview]
Applications received directly will not be entertained and only applications received through P.O Box No.1418 will be entertained.
