Job Responsibilities:
– Responsible for the meticulous review and reconciliation of asset data in ERP (Oracle) fixed asset module.
– Role involves tagging, verification, and reconciliation of fixed assets across all branch-networks, including regular on-site visits to ensure accuracy.
– Ensure the timely and accurate recording of fixed asset acquisitions, transfers, and disposals in the Fixed Assets Module in Oracle, adhering strictly to accounting standards.
– Review and update the detailed schedule of fixed assets and accumulated depreciation, advising management on necessary disposals.
– Track company expenditures on fixed assets against the capital budget and management authorizations. Conduct training for regional and school staff on SOPs related to fixed assets management.
– Prepare and maintain detailed reports on the school’s fixed assets.
– Ensure adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and audit requirements.
– Liaise with procurement, finance, IT, and other relevant departments.
